4 Tips to use Weight Loss Ayurvedic Medicines
Now, there are certain universal tips that must be followed to maintain an ideal body weight and healthy life.
These tips if followed regularly combined with weight loss ayurvedic medicines will work wonders for you in the long run.
1. Follow a Healthy Sleep Pattern
On the journey of weight loss, the first point of conquering is our sleep pattern as sleep plays a key role in your body weight [6].
We must try to sleep for at least 7 hours to keep obesity and various other health issues away. Our body actively functions during the day and rests at night.
So following this routine will let the body function as per its naturally organized pattern by ensuring proper digestion and proper functioning of body organs.
2. Consume Three Proper Meals
Having multiple meals (i.e. when they say to eat every two hours) is not advised in Ayurveda [7].
According to Ayurvedic studies, our body needs a heavy breakfast to fuel it in order to keep it working for the rest of the day, a proper lunch though lighter than breakfast, and a comparatively, more light dinner.
3. Gorge on Seasonal Fruits And Veggies
Nature and season can provide whatever our body needs as fuels and that is where the role of seasonal fruits and vegetables comes into play.
Seasonal fruits and vegetables are meant for the reason that our body’s needs change according to the season.
And that is exactly why we start to crave for seasonal fruits and vegetables.
For instance, I find myself really craving for some fresh okra and juicy mangoes during summers and some bright green fenugreek leaves in winters.
So start today! Make a list of seasonal fruits and veggies available in the market and gorge on them.
4. Have Plenty of Water
In Ayurveda, drinking water soon after or before eating is not advisable.
Though water is extremely good for health and we should consume at least 4 liters of water every day, drinking it right before or after having food dilutes the gastric acids that are meant to work on food and digest them properly.
And when they get diluted, proper digestion of food is not allowed which disrupts the process of weight loss also.
That is why Ayurveda does not encourage the drinking of water right before or after a meal has been consumed.
